Jhaniel: Well, I started cracking up laughing at the cookie. Oh, and the fire hydrant. :P Yes, the ending is interesting, and so very true. I mean, what is the song inside us? What fills us? Scary thoughts I suppose...
Saminda: I originally found it on a few other blogs, and so of course I don't mind! (I couldn't really without being a hypocrite.) I'm glad you liked it. And Stuart too! :)
I was looking at your posts under favorite authors and noticed that you - or perhaps your Dad - has the At Dawn in Rivendell CD. I ended up getting the whole series of those CD's and just love them. I sometimes sing their version of The Bath Song to Miriam when she is in the tub (excepting the part about the beer.) ;)
I love the Tolkien Ensemble. And it's my CD. (Shush! Don't tell Dad I claimed it!) Yes, the Bath Song comes in handy. Back when we had lots of foster kids, I used to sing it to the girls at bathtime. It's perfect, minus the part about beer, of course.
When the rocks started singing Simon & Garfunkel . . . oh my gosh, I laughed so hard. I'm not sure why, but it's extremely funny.
ReplyDeleteAnd then that ending . . . was really really beautiful. I'm glad you found this. It's brilliant. Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteLove the ending... unexpected. Would you mind if I put this up in a post on my blog?
