Holy Week and Snow

It's snowing here, so the world is covered in yet another layer of white. But just a moment ago, the sun lit up the world- streaming in through the window.
It's rare that the sun shines while it's snowing. Just a few minutes ago, the sky was dark and cloudy.
Somehow, it's rather like Good Friday, Easter, and Holy Week.
Holy Week... the week of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter. A long, dark week of remembrance that ends somehow in one of the most joyous, beautiful holy days of them all.
Holy Week is like the snow, falling, amidst the dark clouds and snow. But the sunlight is that remembrance of what will come after - the light of the Resurrection.
