Shrove Tuesday

Or, Fat Tuesday... the day before Ash Wednesday. Don't you just love these names?
Going along with tradition, I made Faschnacht Kuchen today. 


These things are very tasty, and fattening. Of course, it made it so that we were not hungy for dinner. Whoops.

    Yes, that's how I was told to write it by Kilian, last year. It was yummy... very yummy.

    And what does Faschnachts kuchen mean? I don't remember my German very well . . . something cake, lol.

    I shall send it to you... once I modify my dad's directions so that it is a little easier to follow.
    And it means "Fast-Night Cakes" according to Kilian. And according to my German knowledge.
